launchpad asks once, in Mission Control, before it sends any usage counts of its own.

  • After your first app's questions, Mission Control asks once whether to send launchpad's own anonymous usage counts. Nothing is sent until you turn them on.
  • The window lists exactly what is sent and what never is, and you can change your answer any time at the bottom of the sidebar.
  • Not now asks once more a week later; Don't ask again means never. Claude no longer asks about it in chat.
