dsh-gui-browser 2.1.0

Choose a tag to compare

@shittass shittass released this 04 Oct 16:45

Operable, live view of the Session's built-in Chromium in the DSH GUI right Sidebar.

What it does

  • Same pixels as the model sees. The Host half attaches to the Chromium the model's Playwright MCP tools drive (via the --remote-debugging-port the launcher adds) and pushes Page.startScreencast frames over a WebSocket. Nothing is re-rendered or resized.
  • Input goes back. The viewer's mouse, keyboard, IME and clipboard input on the pane are translated into the same page through CDP, so a person and the model drive one browser.
  • Platform launcher. POSIX uses wrapper.sh; on Windows launcher/install.mjs compiles launcher.cs at postinstall, because a .cmd cannot be spawned with shell: false and the CRT descriptor table behind Playwright's --remote-debugging-pipe must be forwarded unchanged.

Requirements

  • DSH ^0.2.0-rc.2 (declared as both engines.dsh and @deepseek-ai/dsh-* peers, so an older runtime refuses the install and boot denies the row).
  • Node ^22.19 || >=24.
  • A profile on @deepseek-ai/dsh-base + @deepseek-ai/dsh-web-app.
  • A browser-use bundle for the provider rows. This package ships no browser; without one the pane stays idle and says so.

Install

dsh plugin --profile <profile> add dsh-gui-browser

pnpm >= 10 gates the postinstall; approve it, or there is no launcher for the provider to start. Installing into a running Harness needs a restart before the pane mounts.
