Codex 0.166.0 for the shuke987/codex exec-goal fork, retaining goal completion and same-session resume support. Includes recovery coverage for both server_is_overloaded and policy_capacity_unavailable, plus the executor required by the 0.166.0 package layout.

Package

  • Target: x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu; optimized Cargo release build on Ubuntu 24.04 / glibc 2.39.
  • Download the complete .tar.gz package and retain its directory layout. It includes bin/codex, codex-exec-server, codex-code-mode-host, bwrap, and ripgrep.

  • Downloaded artifact and all package checksums verified locally.

Dependency audit status

The separate cargo-deny check remains failed for libz-sys 1.1.29 under RUSTSEC-2026-0418. The advisory's environment-disclosure condition requires cc >= 1.6.0. This --locked build uses cc 1.2.55, confirmed in both Cargo.lock and the release build log, matching the advisory's older-cc mitigation. The advisory was not ignored and the audit check is not reported as passing.
