Minutes 0.32.1 makes Recall show what the agent is working from, and lets Claude Code hear about a new meeting or document with your next question instead of a typed-in notice. The Mac window gets a single title row and panes you can resize, the window remembers its size, and the document viewer renders quotes and numbered lists properly.

What changed

Recall

  • See what the agent can read. A row under the Recall header names the selected meeting (or "All meetings") and the open document. The × on each removes it from the conversation; the document itself stays open. #1308
  • No more typed notices in Claude Code. Opening a meeting or document used to type a notice into the terminal and press Enter, which cost Claude a turn. Claude Code now gets the change as context with your next prompt, through a hook in a settings file Minutes manages. Your own .claude folder isn't touched. Other agents, Windows, and sessions started with your own --settings keep the typed notice for now. #1308
  • With the assistant set to a plain shell (zsh, bash, sh, fish), Minutes no longer types notices into it at all. #1301
  • In a shell, the first line no longer shows a stray inverted %, and the white bar along the terminal's right edge is gone. #1299

The Mac window

  • One title row. The window controls, the Minutes name, the settings gear and the list toggle share one row, with the Recall and document headers in it too. Windows and Linux keep their header. #1298
  • Resizable panes. The meeting list, Recall and an open document each have a divider, and their widths are remembered. Double-click a divider to reset it. #1298
  • A quieter meeting list. Rows lose the colored dots, and memos and dictations say what they are ("11:40 AM · Dictation"). Two or more dictations on a day fold into one "N dictations" row. "Discuss with Agent" moved from the row's hover arrow to the right-click menu and the meeting page. #1298
  • The window keeps its size. Minutes saved the window size only on a kind of exit it no longer uses, so every launch restored an old size. It now saves after you resize or move the window, and on quit. #1299
  • The menu bar icon keeps its spot after an in-app update. Restarting into a new version now waits for the old one to exit and reopens the app the same way a normal launch does. The restart is run by the version you're updating from, so this takes effect from the update after 0.32.1. #1299
  • The new list labels are translated for Chinese (zh-CN) and Portuguese (pt-BR). #1307

Documents

  • Quotes in a document render as quotes instead of lines starting with >, and numbered lists sit inside the text column. #1310

The CLI notice in What's New

  • It appears only when the minutes you actually run is missing or out of date. Older copies further down your PATH no longer trigger it on every release; Settings lists them as ignored. Bundled CLI setup picks your installed Minutes.app, and opens above What's New instead of behind it. #1299

Under the hood

  • The Archive crates move to zip 9.0.5, which fixes a critical parser advisory and three high-severity ones. #1306
  • rusqlite 0.41. #1309
  • Opt-in diagnostics for live transcription record which stretches of audio reached the live transcriber. They are off by default and change nothing unless enabled. #1302, #1303, #1304
  • Dependency updates, and three frontend checks that used to run only by hand now run in CI. #1311

Anyone who uses Recall with Claude Code, anyone who resizes the Minutes window, and anyone on an older Minutes who saw the CLI notice on every release.
