The buddy looks right in the Claude desktop app now.

• The bubble is plain text on a soft fill, without the line frame that broke apart in the app
• A happy or loving bounce moves the buddy by whole rows, so no gaps open between its pixel rows
• When the buddy fades out, it melts away pixel by pixel instead of turning into a dark shape on the app's gray panel
• Crumbs keep the snack's color while they fly and then vanish, in the terminal too, so they no longer leave dark squares on a light background

Two fixes for how the buddy looks.

• In the Claude desktop app the band is drawn in the monospaced face, so the buddy, its bubble and the menu keep their columns instead of drifting apart
• A double click no longer leaves the bubble behind on top of the buddy where it lands. The bubble waits out the jump, and the buddy says "wheee!" once it's down

• Facts while you wait. On a long answer the buddy tells a fact about space, Earth, code, math or philosophy, about one every three minutes, never while you type. A hundred of them, each once before any repeats
• facts in the menu turns them on or off, /buddy fact asks for one now, /buddy facts on and /buddy facts off from the prompt
• A line longer than the room next to the buddy slides along to its end instead of being cut with an ellipsis
• Subagents are counted from the list of running agents, without a hook on their start. The README says what each hook does
• Install in three steps in the README

• share copies a card of your buddy drawn in emoji squares, paste it into any chat
• Works in the terminal and in the Code tab of the desktop app
