DMC3 v0.30
DMC3 v0.30
This update is using a new signing key, you need to uninstall the previous app to play
Changes
- Import GPU drivers directly from ZIP packages. The app extracts the driver
automatically and displays the original ZIP filename in the launcher. - Keep multiple custom drivers. Choose between saved imports, bundled Turnip
and the system driver. Different packages sharing a filename remain separate.
Saved drivers persist across restarts and compatible app updates. - Optimize CPU-heavy math. Reduce repeated x87 state-shuffling work in matrix
multiplication, weighted vertex/normal transforms and vertex-attribute handling.
The original game simulation timing is retained. - Apply one DXVK configuration automatically. No profile selector is needed.
d3d9.maxFrameLatency = 0restores default queueing, and cached dynamic buffers
are enabled. The exact bundled configuration is attached asdxvk.conf.
DXVK Native remains 2.6.2. The bundled driver and the existing touch controls,
widescreen settings and save-profile features are retained.
Important update notice
This is a new app with a new signing key, so you need to uninstall you v0.28 app before installing, so sorry for the inconvenience, this update is only small update though, only added a new feature to customize your driver freely, you can use any driver now Migrating from public v0.28 requires a fresh
installation. Preserve your saves before migrating: uninstalling removes the
app's private imports, settings, drivers and saves.
Builds signed with the current development key can update normally. The package
remains local.dmc3.runtimeprobe; the internal version code is 56.
Validation and limitations
- APK signature, alignment, package identity and content-preservation checks pass.
- Local original-versus-candidate checks pass for 512 matrix cases and
1,792 vertex/skinning block cases. These compare native-code behavior;
they are not complete-game or GPU tests. - This exact v0.30 APK was installed successfully on the development Poco F3.
A controlled before/after FPS benchmark has not been recorded for this release.
60 FPS is not guaranteed. Full campaign and other-device compatibility
remain unverified. - Mali GPU Support is unavailable, you can try it though, using your custom mali driver, blank screen might still happen.
- The bundled config retains the requested
d3d9.enableAsyncentry, but this
DXVK build does not support it and ignores it.floatEmulation = Trueenables
floating-point emulation.

You must own the PC Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition and supply your own
supported dmc3se.exe and matching game folder containing GDATA.AFS,
native/rom and native/sound. No original game executable, gameplay archives,
audio, movies or saves are included. This independent project is not affiliated
with Capcom.
Custom GPU drivers require Android 9 or later and compatible GPU/Vulkan support.

v0.28 - Icon fix, DMC3 naming and widescreen
Changes
- Fix the oval/cropped adaptive icon reported in #1 by keeping both layers square
and centering the logo in the safe area. - Rename the installed app from DMC3 Android to DMC3.
- Add the widescreen camera/HUD, text, and combo-indicator patch.
- Add MENU > Graphics > Aspect Ratio with Widescreen 16:9 and
Original 4:3, live switching, saved preferences, and seven 16:9 resolutions. - Include the startup-crash correction: scale the loaded HUD constant without
writing to protected game-image memory.
All changes are combined in the single ARM64 APK attached to this release.
This is the same v0.28 APK installed on the development Poco F3. In-place
installation preserved its existing saves. DXVK Native 2.6.2 and Turnip are unchanged.
Required game files
You must own a legally obtained PC Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition and
supply your own dmc3se.exe and matching game folder, including GDATA.AFS,
native/rom, and native/sound. No original EXE, gameplay assets, audio,
movies, or saves are included. This independent project is not affiliated with Capcom.
Validation and known limitations
Build, signing, package-content, linked-catalog, source/cache and local ARM64
regression checks passed. The user reached gameplay on v0.28. The first-boss
encounter remains slow: a short 1280 x 720 sample on Poco F3 averaged about
15.5 FPS. Its exact cause is unresolved. Full campaign, every HUD/menu/cutscene,
and other-device compatibility are unverified. This remains an experimental prerelease.
