PastAi 0.3.3: new icon, organize your toolbar
What's new
- New icon and logo. A simpler mark: two cards for copy and paste, and a spark for AI.
- Organize your toolbar. Drag extensions into order in Settings > Extensions, and delete the ones you don't use. The toolbar follows the same order.
- WhatsApp picks the contact. Selected text now opens in WhatsApp's own contact picker, with no number needed. Set a contact in the extension's settings to go straight to them.
- Settings in the main window. There is now a settings button in the toolbar.
Fixes
- Drag to reorder now works. The list said it could be dragged, but it could not.
Requires macOS 26 or later on Apple silicon.

PastAi 0.3.2: clearer tabs
What's new
- Clearer tabs. Built-in categories you pin now sit to the left of Clipboard, and your own Pinboards to the right. ⌘← and ⌘→ follow the same order.

PastAi 0.3.1: Pinboard colors on cards
What's new
- Pinboard colors on cards. In a Pinboard tab, card title bars now use the color you chose for that Pinboard.

PastAi 0.3.0: English and Chinese, import from Paste
What's new
- English and Chinese. PastAi now follows your system language, including menus, settings, error messages and extensions. Translate aims at your system language by default.
- Import from Paste. Open Settings > Storage and choose Import. History, Pinboards, titles, source apps and original dates come across, Paste's data is left untouched, and importing again never creates duplicates.
- Most recently used first. The clip you just pasted or copied moves to the first card, in the history and in Pinboards.
- Files stay where they are. Copied files and folders are now recorded by path, so they take no space in the library. Pasting uses the original, and PastAi tells you if it has been moved or deleted. Screenshots are still kept, because there may be no other copy. Copies made by earlier versions are removed once the original can still be found.
Fixes
- Files copied in Finder are always recorded under their real path, even when Finder hands over an inode-based reference.
- A clip that only points at a file no longer counts toward the media storage limit.
- Thumbnails and text recognition now catch up on any number of clips, not just the first 500.
- A file that hangs the system thumbnailer no longer stops thumbnails for everything after it, and new copies no longer wait behind a long catch-up.

修复
- 在访达中复制的文件始终记录真实路径，即使访达给出的是基于 inode 的引用。
- 只指向文件的条目不再计入媒体存储上限。
- 缩略图和文字识别现在能补齐任意数量的条目，不再只处理前 500 条。
- 某个文件让系统缩略图服务挂起时，不再挡住后面所有条目；新复制的内容也不用排在长队列后面。

PastAi 0.2.0: selection toolbar and extension market
AI clipboard manager and PopClip-style text selection toolbar for macOS. Requires macOS 26 or later on Apple silicon. This build is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
Install
Download PastAi-0.2.0.dmg, open it and drag PastAi to Applications. PastAi runs from the menu bar. Press ⇧⌘V to open the clipboard, and allow Accessibility when asked, which is needed to read selected text and paste into other apps.
What's new
- Selection toolbar. Select text in any app and a small horizontal bar appears at your cursor. It never takes focus, so your selection stays intact.
- Extension market. 30 extensions for US and Chinese services, fetched directly from this repository, with a copy in the app for offline use.
- AI translate. Results stream into a small popover, go straight to your clipboard, and Insert replaces the original text.
- WhatsApp. Send the selection to a chosen contact, with optional auto-send.
- Agent-written extensions. Describe what you want and the agent writes, tests and installs a local extension after your approval.
- Pinned categories. Show built-in categories such as Images or Links as tabs in the panel.
- Clearer model errors. The provider's own error code and message are shown, with a Test Connection button in settings.
- Redesigned agent chat. Full Markdown, folded tool steps, retry, and a switcher for models.
Fixed
- The app no longer quits when switching away from a previewed image or file in the main window.
- Right-click menus open at the pointer instead of flipping above it near the bottom of the screen.
Extension safety
Extensions cannot run shell commands or AppleScript. They can open links and apps, call your own AI model, or compute in a JavaScript sandbox with no network or file access. See docs/EXTENSIONS.md.

安装
下载 PastAi-0.2.0.dmg，打开后把 PastAi 拖到"应用程序"。PastAi 常驻菜单栏，按 ⇧⌘V 打开剪贴板。请在提示时允许辅助功能权限，用于读取选中的文字和向其他应用粘贴。
新功能
- 划词工具条。 在任意应用中选中文字，光标旁出现横向小工具条，全程不抢焦点，选区一直保留。
- 组件市场。 30 个中美常用组件，直接从本仓库获取，app 内带有离线副本。
- AI 翻译。 结果在小弹窗里流式显示并自动加入剪贴板，点"插入"直接替换原文。
- WhatsApp。 把选中内容发给指定联系人，可选自动发送。
- Agent 写组件。 描述需求后，Agent 编写并试运行组件，经你确认后安装。
- 固定分类。 把图片、链接等默认分类固定为面板标签页。
- 更清楚的模型错误。 显示服务商的错误码和原文，设置里新增"测试连接"。
- 重新设计的 Agent 聊天。 完整 Markdown、折叠工具步骤、重试和模型切换。
修复
- 在主窗口预览图片或文件后切换条目，app 不再退出。
- 右键菜单从光标处打开，不再在屏幕底部翻到光标上方。
组件安全
组件不能运行 Shell 命令或 AppleScript，只能打开链接和应用、调用你自己的 AI 模型，或者在没有网络和文件权限的 JavaScript 沙箱里计算。详见 docs/EXTENSIONS.md。
