TeslaLauncher V2 (v1.2.1)

This incremental update addresses a specific edge-case bug discovered during high-velocity field testing, where the navigation system would fail to recognize a passed waypoint if the vehicle's speed exceeded the GPS sampling threshold.

Improvements & Fixes

  • High-Speed Waypoint Detection: Fixed the "missed waypoint" bug. At extremely high speeds (500+ km/h), the vehicle could "jump" over the standard 30-meter detection radius between two GPS ticks.
  • Vector-Based Progress Logic: Implemented a new proximity-tracking algorithm (lastMinDistance). The system now recognizes a node as "passed" if:
    1. The vehicle enters the precise 30m radius.
    2. OR, the vehicle was within 150m and the distance to the node starts increasing again (detecting the point of closest approach).
  • Automatic Queue Reset: Improved the reset logic for lastMinDistance during instruction chaining to ensure a seamless transition between maneuvers without manual intervention.

Technical Context

At speeds around 540 km/h, a vehicle travels approximately 150 meters per second. This update ensures that even with a standard 1Hz GPS update rate, the launcher accurately tracks progress through every node of the route, regardless of velocity.
