Breaking Changes

• include_past_dates now defaults to True. Overdue scheduled transactions (past expected dates with no matching ledger entry) now generate placeholders and warnings by default. To restore the previous behavior, set include_past_dates: false in your _config.yaml.

What's Changed

• Changed DEFAULT_INCLUDE_PAST_DATES from False to True — overdue schedules now surface automatically without requiring explicit config

Migration

If you relied on the old behavior (no past-date placeholders), add this to your config:

include_past_dates: false

Each schedule's start_date still naturally bounds how far back occurrences are generated, so long-lived ledgers won't see spurious historical warnings.
