todo: talk more about textures and lighting
Textures
The textures I looked at the most were the ones that called to mind the cheapest building design: exposed pipes, corroded, rusty, or unmaintained metal, concrete/cement, and laminate flooring.
Bottom floor (Cafeteria)
I used a white brick texture on the main support structure, as that can commonly be found among prison and dorm cafeterias alike, and the grungy, fake-looking tile flooring made sense in the context of an unclean eating area. The bottom trim along the wall is a series of drains, implying that spills and or water area frequent guest to the ground. The rusted metal walls shows a lack of care for the aesthetic design of the space, making it a much more oppressive environment to have a meal in.
