Tinycap 0.3.0
Tinycap now takes screenshots, with a quick editor for marking them up.
- Screenshots: Screenshot Area, Window or Screen from the menu bar, or press ⌃⌥⌘4 for an area. Full Retina resolution; window shots keep their transparent corners, with the shadow as an option.
- Floating thumbnail: after a capture, a thumbnail waits in the corner for a few seconds. Click it to edit, drag it into any app, or leave it and it's saved to your folder.
- Arrows: drag to draw, hold Shift to snap to 45°, and drag the middle handle to bend an arrow into a curve.
- Text: click to type, with an optional solid background so it reads on any screenshot.
- Pixelate: hide passwords, keys or names. The export replaces those pixels, so nothing can be recovered from the file.
- Crop: keep just the part that matters.
- Export: press ⌘C to copy or ⌘S to save, as PNG or JPEG at 2× or 1×. Saved files carry no location or device details.
- Undo and redo for every edit, six colors plus a color picker, and your last style is remembered.
- New Screenshot tab in Settings for what happens after a capture, the format and the default style.
- Copy and paste now work in text fields across the app.
