Important

Any release of checksync prior to this, when running on Node 24 or above, would produce different checksums than when run on earlier versions of Node if U+2028 and U+2029 are used inside a tagged block. If you are using Node 24 or above, make sure to use v11.0.1 or above for parity with earlier Node platforms.

Patch Changes

  • 5346398: Read files the way checksync did before 11.0.0, so U+2028 and U+2029 inside a tagged block no longer change its checksum on Node.js 24.
