Using the Code

Downloading the Program

In order to download this program, you can go to the releases page and download the latest build, or alternatively you can always download the latest release here: Latest Release Download.

Building the Program Yourself

In order to build it yourself, simply download the source code and open the physicsEvents.sln in Visual Studio. You will be able to edit anything to your heart's content. As this program is written under the GNU-GPLv3, you must abide by that license whenever you work with the source code itself. You can publish anything you want, as long as it isn't closed source, and you must credit me for my code that you use in your project.

Running the Program

Once you have the latest build, run the .exe file. From there, you will be given a few options, running the program, modifying the settings, and quitting. Upon first launch, you will need to modify the settings, as by default it has no path or filename to write to. The syntax of the path is as follows: c:\users\kees wolterstorff\desktop\ You must have a trailing backslash, and this is not case-sensitive. The syntax of the path is slightly different, as it is case-sensitive, and will always be written to .docx file. As such, you are encouraged to omit the .docx part of the name, lest you want the file to be called filename.docx.docx.
