Medium range missing?

According to VL53L1X datasheet, there's a Medium Distance Mode, which is not present at API.

Was there an update by ST removing it?

As I just read, there's more than one version of the core, the STSW-IMG007 contains all three modes, others may not, the library could be built upon one of them.
