The Military Health System (MHS) contains records of all healthcare events paid for by the MHS, regardless of setting. It includes records of all beneficiary data, and service-related information while the clinical data contains information on vital signs, body mass index, chemistry, microbiology, and pathology lab results. Most of the clinical data is only available from 2009 and forward, while the administrative data sources go back further, some as far as 1989.
