General description

The Veterans Health Administration Surgery Program (VHA-SP) contains information on VHA leadership and Program Office reference from a national and regional perspective. It includes information about processes that are in place ensuring that all surgeries are performed under the safest possible conditions at health facilities. It contains data on patient demographics, inpatient stays, outpatient clinic visits, pharmacy orders and fills, laboratory results, vital signs, patient assessments, as well as aspects of cost.
