Installing when Play Protect blocks it

Play Protect verdicts are cached per package + signing key.
v1.5.4 is a brand-new identity (new private signing key, new
package id dev.pocketveto.app), so nothing from older versions
carries over — uninstall any older PocketVeto first (a
different signature cannot update in place anyway).

If Play Protect still shows a block with no "Install anyway"
option (the hard-block tier for unknown sideloaded apps):

1. Play Store → your profile icon → Play Protect → ⚙ Settings
2. Turn off "Scan apps with Play Protect" (and "Improve
   harmful app detection" if shown)
3. Install the APK (PocketVeto-android.apk)
4. Turn scanning back on — the fresh identity starts with a
   clean record
