Manifield is now open source under the GNU General Public License v3. This is the first release from this repository.

Download: Manifield-0.1.3.dmg below. Requires macOS 15 or later, on Apple silicon or Intel. Open the disk image and drag Manifield to Applications; don't run it from the disk image. The app is signed and notarized.

Already have 0.1.x? It will offer this update itself (Manifield → Check for Updates…).

Open source

  • Source code, documentation and an example project (Baire category and the three big theorems of functional analysis) are in this repository.
  • The About window shows the licence, and the disk image includes LICENSE.txt.
  • Releases and updates now come from this repository. Earlier builds (0.1.1, 0.1.2) stay at manifield-releases.

Fixed

  • Links in rendered content. Clicking a link in a chat answer, an item or an imported document could open a file or app on your Mac if the link pointed at one. Now only web and email links open; anything else is ignored.

Changed

  • If a bug report can't be sent, the form now suggests pasting it into a GitHub issue.
