DOOM RING Version 1.3: ELDEN RING 1.17.2 support and fixes

Updating: download DOOM.RING.Setup.1.3.zip below, unzip it, run Setup DOOM RING.exe and keep
your DOOM RING folder. It updates in a few seconds and keeps your settings, keys and progress.

Requires ELDEN RING 1.17.2 (app version 2.7.2). The latest ELDEN RING update broke 1.2.

Fixed

  • ELDEN RING 1.17.2: the mod works again after the latest game update.
  • Malenia, Blade of Miquella: her second phase (Goddess of Rot) now starts. Before, she died at the
    end of her first phase.
  • Godfrey, First Elden Lord: his health bar now goes down, he turns into Hoarah Loux halfway, and
    the fight ends properly.
  • Fire Giant: the health bar now goes down, the Meathook, chainsaw and Flame Belch work on him, and
    the extra small health bar over his body is gone.
  • Glory kill flying bug: in some places (for example inside Stormveil Castle) a glory kill could
    throw you far across the map. It now takes you to the enemy you are targeting instead.
  • Glory kills over a gap: a glory kill across a gap no longer drops you into it.
  • Cutscene doors: doors that play a short cutscene no longer put you back in the room with the door
    locked.
  • Broken stairs in the Ashen Capital: walking up the broken stairs no longer pulls you inside the
    steps.
  • Rocket Launcher and BFG: damage now lands when the rocket or BFG hits, not when you pull the
    trigger.
  • Meathook with the Crucible out: right-click no longer fires the Meathook while the Crucible is
    drawn.

Known issues

  • AMD graphics cards: on some AMD GPUs the settings menu's sliders and reset button can show blue
    noise instead of green, and switching weapons can stutter the first time each gun is drawn in a
    session. We're looking into it for a later update.
  • Black screen crash: some programs inject themselves into ELDEN RING to draw an FPS
    counter, an overlay, or to “boost” the game’s performance, which can clash with the mod loader.
    Confirmed with Razer Cortex but other programs that hook in the same way, like MSI Afterburner,
    RivaTuner Statistics Server (RTSS) and Overwolf, may also cause issues.
    Fully quit them (or turn off their in-game overlay) before starting DOOM RING.
