GSPack 0.8 - Cores and Cosmos.

This is the source-code release: pack configuration, KubeJS scripts, assets and development tools. Mod jars are not included. Download and update the playable modpack through CurseForge.

Highlights

  • 1,840 quests across 43 chapters, including five dedicated Core chapters and expanded Mars exploration.
  • Reworked Core progression: a 24-pedestal FE multiblock, five-core Powah Creative Singularity and a placeable Trophy of Infinity.
  • Expanded Mars with research dungeons, oxygen villages, spaceman traders, ruins, alien pillager camps, new mobs, native ore variants and rare Unobtainium.
  • 66 Potions Master Ore Sights, disabled Thaumaturge taint spread, seasonal menus and updated branding.
  • FTB Chunks map-refresh fixes, keyboard conflict fixes and adjusted Mystical Agriculture seed drops.
  • 294 mod/library jars in the pack snapshot: three added and fourteen updated since 0.7.

Updating and validation

Back up existing worlds and fully restart clients and servers after updating. Existing quest IDs are retained. Fourteen inactive legacy script placeholders prevent retired code from remaining active during folder-merging updates.

The changelog records zero script-loading errors and zero failed recipes in the latest pre-fix game log. Final post-fix in-game validation, Mars travel, terrain, sky, mining and chunk conversion still require gameplay checks.

GSPack 0.7 expands progression, farming, automation and the custom endgame.

  • 291 mods: 17 added and 9 updated since 0.6.
  • 1,720 quests in 36 chapters: seven new chapters, compact layouts and separate Mekanism circuit/alloy/installer routes.
  • Public, coloured chapter mastery commands, with completed chapters only.
  • 69 additional rewards, silicon unification and new Occultism requirements for the Arcane Core.
  • EMC exclusions for endgame items, ores/raw ores, machines, Mystical seeds, tools, weapons and armour; 88 material conversions and /gspackemc audit.
  • Thaumometer, sleep progression, Ore Sight, smithing GUI, pause-menu and runtime fixes.

Download and update

Download and update GSPack through CurseForge. Minecraft 26.1.2, NeoForge 26.1.2.125; recommended RAM: 8 GB.

Back up existing worlds and fully restart clients and servers after updating. Existing quest IDs are preserved; new required quests can change mastery completion.

Validation and known limitations

Fresh game logs confirm 23 scripts loaded without errors, zero failed recipes and successful EMC exclusion/remapping. Full gameplay balance and EMC coverage still need in-game testing; /gspackemc audit reports unmapped items.

Thaumaturge compatibility: its null-output recipe crash is guarded by temporarily quarantining affected recipes. The latest run quarantined 544 recipes; their IDs are logged and those recipes are unavailable. Review JEI before planning affected automation.
