• choose_meal, sign_off_meal and rate_meal return MEAL_ACTIONS_UNAVAILABLE when the school publishes meals but edupage-api can't read EduPage's current canteen page. Nothing is sent; the response says why and tells the agent to send the person to EduPage itself to order, cancel or rate.

Changed

• get_meals output: each day lists menus as [{menu, name, dishes: [{name, allergens, weight}]}], with new cancelled and served fields. title is gone; can_be_changed_until stays. Anything that parses the old shape needs updating.
• When EduPage's /user/ page fails without redirecting to sign-in, tools return TEMPORARY_ERROR instead of AUTH_REQUIRED, so a server hiccup no longer asks the person to sign in again.

Fixed

• get_meals shows the menu again for schools that publish one. It returned MEALS_NOT_AVAILABLE because edupage-api 0.13.3 can't parse EduPage's current /menu/ page; the server now reads that page itself.

• Claude Desktop extension. Download edupage-keyring-mcp.mcpb, double-click it and enter your school. It needs only macOS and Google Chrome, because Claude Desktop sets up uv and Python itself. It uses the same Keychain sessions as the uvx install. The extension doesn't update itself: install the new .mcpb from each release.
• --school takes several schools separated by commas, such as --school first,second=teacher. Repeating --school still works.

• sign_in opens your school's EduPage sign-in page in Chrome when the session is missing or has expired, so you no longer need a terminal to sign in. Password, two-factor and QR code sign-in all work.
• wait_for_sign_in waits for that sign-in to finish and reports the new session, so Claude carries on with your question without you saying you're done.
• auth_status reports a sign-in that is still open, or how the last one ended, in a new signin field.
• --no-browser-signin keeps the server from opening Chrome; sign in with edupage-keyring-mcp login instead.
• --school, login and logout accept your school's EduPage address, such as https://myschool.edupage.org, as well as its short name.
• Setup instructions for Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor and VS Code, and @latest in every example so clients pick up new releases on restart.

• EDUPAGE_USERNAME is no longer needed. If you set it up with 0.1.0, keep it to go on using the session you saved then, or remove it and sign in once more.
• --school name=label now only names the Keychain entry for a second account at the same school.
• Child-specific tools (timetable, grades, meals) select their child before each read and no longer reconnect after every call, so they make fewer requests to EduPage.
• A malformed EDUPAGE_USERNAME is reported as INVALID_USERNAME; USERNAME_MISSING is gone.
• Dependencies other than edupage-api now take compatible updates within their major version; edupage-api stays pinned at 0.13.3.
