Feature release. Sequence diagram reports are rebuilt as a self-contained, interactive page, and the repository now ships an Agent Skill for coding agents. No changes to the exported API.
New
- Self-contained, interactive sequence diagram reports.
SequenceDiagramnow writes a single HTML file that loads nothing from the network. Previous reports loaded Bootstrap, jQuery, Raphael, highlight.js, clipboard.js and js-sequence-diagrams from five CDNs, so they could not be viewed offline and broke if any of those went away. See the demo. (#185)- The diagram is an SVG drawn in Go, so it renders without JavaScript, and each arrow links to its message.
- Each message shows its start line, headers and body. JSON bodies are indented and highlighted.
- Requests that received no response, such as calls that matched no mock, are flagged in the diagram and the message list. See the unmatched mock demo.
- Click an arrow to jump to its message, filter messages, focus on one participant, and move between messages with
jandk. - Copy any message raw, or any request as a curl command.
- Light and dark themes follow the system setting, the layout works on narrow screens, and printing expands every message.
- An Agent Skill for writing apitest tests. It teaches coding agents the library's conventions and its common traps. Install it in Claude Code with
claude plugin marketplace add steinfletcher/apitest, thenclaude plugin install apitest@apitest. Other agents that support Agent Skills can useskills/apitestas it is. See AI coding agents. (#184)
Upgrading
Report file names and directories are unchanged, and the meta data is still embedded in <script id="metaJson">. Tooling that parsed other parts of the old report HTML, such as the js-sequence-diagrams text, needs updating.
