delvewright 1.14.0 — the Delvewright Claude Code plugin (/delvewright:new-delve), one of the three things this repository releases (the others are the delvec binary and the delvewright-dsl format crate). Its version is the version of the engine release it ships at, and it is tagged at that release's commit: the marketplace serves the plugin root at the engine release tag the entry names, so these are the bytes a creator installing from that tag receives, and an installed creator updates to them because the version moved with the pin.

  • the page ships at engine release delvec--v1.14.0, and installs that engine
  • it accepts delvec >=1.0.0 <2.0.0
  • that engine speaks dsl_version 0.56.0
  • plugin root tree cc93cec7c44cb51c0c73c7b344d56f1cf980aeef, tagged at e51f8bbef8c3a3b58caea451b5f9898b15b00509
  • to hold a fixed page, add the marketplace at the ENGINE release it ships at: /plugin marketplace add stellarfeline/delvewright#delvec--v1.14.0

Highlights

  • Step 9 details every place on its own: for each place the skill runs scripts/handout.py, which derives a handout from the allocation and the design rows, and hands it to a fresh agent; a refusal goes back into the next agent's handout, and three refusals of one code stop the loop.
  • The map is always a site plan, however small: step 2 no longer asks "areas or site plan" and teaches only the brief, graph and plan route (one building is a one-box plan).
  • Review frames are drawn by delvec itself with delvec frames; Init no longer installs or builds a renderer, and places the Minecraft client jar at ~/.delvewright/client/minecraft-1.21.11.jar with a pinned sha256.
  • A new Reference works page names the best existing example of each kind of map to start from before designing a form, statue or organic interior.
  • The quest and writing pages teach the new guidance rules: titles open on the act, hints say where without compass points, the compass and journal, and talkable NPCs watch the player by default.

Changes

Planning the map (steps 2 and 9)

  • Step 2 starts from the map's reference views, then the three site-plan documents; the placement-model decision, the areas[] route and its probes are removed from the skill.
  • detail.md gives each place its own author and a per-place procedure: handout, fresh agent, delvec detail verdict, repair.
  • A place's program is written by hand or emitted by a script checked in beside it as provenance; the emitted program is the artifact of record.
  • Gated connections are built shut and the build proves a shut gate separates its two sides; when-red.md explains the refusal and how to repair it, and notes that floors are judged by what holds a body, so bars through a floor are a hatch, not a floor.

Writing and quest design

  • Hints name the act and a landmark-relative place; titles open with the act their kind performs; no compass points in player-facing text.
  • Compass, highlight {within}, journal and manual are explained as the engine's guidance surface.
  • Decide per speaking character whether its gaze may follow the player ("watch": "none"), and keep one named character one body.
  • Holders (item frames, armour stands, all container kinds), the container census and endings that read the run are covered in the capability, story and build pages.
  • The build page tells the author to compare the pacing line (DW0822) with target_minutes; the engine does not.

Review, render and hand-over

  • Step 12 draws the set with delvec frames; the page now covers what the set shows and how to read it, in place of the Chunky install and cost sections.
  • The hand-over page draws storybook art with delvec cameras and panorama, and the staging check waits for the placed world and verifies the datapack over rcon before it says READY.
  • Reference levels live whole in the content repository's references directory and are built with --prefabs campaigns/references/<id>/prefabs.

Init and toolchain

  • The delvec command table lists codes, textures, sculpt, rig and l10n-apply and the frames arms; fetch-client-jar.py checks the engine's pinned sha256.
  • The shipped-library page checks the clone with delvec prefab audit.

Merge commits, engine-side commits and wording-only page edits (contents lists, link fixes, version pins) make up the rest of the 54 commits and change no step.
