Wake your Steam Deck from sleep by pressing the home button on any Bluetooth controller — Xbox, DualSense, Switch Pro, 8BitDo, and more. Just like an Xbox or PlayStation console.
Install (manual sideload)
Requires Decky Loader. On the Deck: Steam → Power → Switch to Desktop, open Konsole, set a password with passwd if you haven't, then run:

sudo systemctl restart plugin_loaderReturn to Gaming Mode → open Wake on Controller in Quick Access (⚡) → toggle Enable BT Wake on.
Setup
- Pair your controller in Steam's Bluetooth settings
- Enable BT Wake in the plugin
- Put the Deck to sleep, press the controller's home button — it wakes and reconnects
