MediaCheck 0.15.1 Beta is a focused usability update to the first public Windows beta of this read-only video-library health and duplicate checker.

Download

  • MediaCheck-Setup.exe — Windows installer
  • MediaCheck-0.15.1-beta.zip — complete beta package with installer, testing guide, feedback form, privacy notes, and checksums

Windows SmartScreen may identify the installer as an unrecognized application because this independent beta is not digitally signed yet. Please review the included SmartScreen instructions and verify the checksum below.

What changed in 0.15.1

  • Larger issue-details pane with a draggable divider
  • New Expand details view… button beside the Issue details heading
  • Playback testing and structured feedback recorded per flagged file
  • Deep-check results identify the approximate playback position reported by FFmpeg
  • Missing decode timestamps are clearly shown as Decode error location: unavailable, rather than being confused with an error at 0:00:00
  • Issue-report exports include playback observations, tester severity, notes, container, and codecs
  • Improved controls for pausing and enabling individual library locations
  • 79 automated tests plus hands-on Windows testing

MediaCheck never renames, moves, repairs, or deletes media files.
