I'm back and better than ever! This version has several new features, optimizations, and code cleanup!

Patch Notes for: 0.9.2:

  1. Added feedback to terminal to state if the encryption password could not be verified.
    safe_exit.close()
  2. Added notes to exit() function explaining how it works.
  3. Added redundency to prevent history_desc.py from not being written correctly.
    save.all()
  4. Fixed a save issue where a var that needs to recognized, isn't recognized, and allows a experimental program to run and cause errors.
    save.settings()
  5. print_instructions.createBarcode() will now refuse to run if dependecy (qrcode) has not been installed.
  6. Python version check now works as intended. You can set skip_pythonCheck to True, or use -skipPythonCheck argument on startup to avoid running into version checks.
  7. Removed save_in_txtFile.help(). If using Visual Studio, hover over save_in_txtFile to see current branches.
  8. Fixed app.py trying to create user 3 times instead of once. I was appearently low IQ when i wrote that.
  9. Created Class StudentManager with several functions. Fully finished with developement.
    • VerifyStudent
    • AllowedPermissions
    • enableStudentAccount
    • returnStudentStatus
    • disableStudentAccount
    • RemoveStudent
    • AddStudent
    • RemoveAllStudents
    • ActivateAllStudents
    • SuspendedAllStudents
    • switch
    • DoesStudentExist
    • ShowAllStudents
  10. Added directory for users class. Hover over users class in Visual Studio Code to see it.
  11. Optimized save.all():
    Writing speed to a file has been increased! For those with big datasets.
  12. Optimized and cleaned up startup code before and after class/function creation. With notes!!
  13. Added temp memory banks for future function to use. How these will be used will depend on each function.
  14. New encrypt/decrypt functions called database(). These will be used with the new class new_data_base()
  15. New class new_data_base() this will be replacing the current handler. This name will change when comepleted. Access to the old handler will be available for future releases. It will be updated and tweaked before it's classified as depreciated.

Friendly Remarks!:

  • Plenty of updates will be released in the coming weeks as either stable or testing until 1.0 is released!
  • These updates will include several optimizations, new features and code cleanup.
