0.1.4-rc.1 — Desktop settings icons

Desktop-focused prerelease for DSH 0.2.1-rc.1 / 0.2.1-rc.2. npm channel: rc; existing latest and alpha are retained.

Fixes browser access to Node's process global by reading __DSH_BOOT__.release, preserves current settings-shell release refresh prompts and shortcuts, and adds account/archive default icons while retaining third-party keyed icons.

Validation scope:

• Final rc.1 and rc.2 registry graphs passed the full check (29 tests passed / 3 explicitly skipped), plus emitted browser artifact execution (1 passed).
• Runtime, tests and build sources match the cloud candidate already checked against both fixed official DSH source-tag artifact graphs.
• On macOS Desktop 0.2.1-rc.2/build 332895e, the existing published plugin recovered icons after cold restart; official uninstall/reinstall contrast and stock-setting persistence passed. The candidate's full OpenAI icon and Host version rendered in isolated Chrome. Full native candidate/updater acceptance is not claimed. Actual screen images were inspected; unit/DOM checks are not screenshots.

Known limitations:

• Fully restart the Host and reload clients after installing, enabling, disabling or removing this plugin. The unchanged Host Loader can retain an old fiber/boot graph during hot changes. Two optional hot-swap regressions remain explicitly skipped; no Host or Loader patch is included.
• Web welcome acknowledgement did not pass acceptance. The same-ID replacement composition conflicts with the configuration editor's overlay guard. Authentication was not established as its cause. Desktop does not register this Web step. No confirmation or configuration-protection bypass is included.

The attached npm tarball is the exact artifact published to the npm registry. Its checksum receipt records SHA-1, SHA-256 and npm integrity. Source is tagged at the merged release commit.
