You were looking at work that had barely begun (on both this and on #121). With further tweaks, I think this pairing is very promising:

I think Yantramanav is better for UI in particular than Overpass — its letterforms are very similar to Roboto which excels at UI. (In fact Roboto is also an option, though it's a little overused.)

It's looking much nicer now. The main thing that doesn't feel right to me are the textual nav links in the header. I tried to make them bold, which possibly looked a little nicer, but was perhaps too heavy. I wonder if it's got a font weight that's in between standard and bold?

I prefer this variant, but in all variants (the two proposed on the one on main) the text is just not black enough. Will experiment with making contrast higher.
