Error: Undefined constant Doctrine\DBAL\Types\Type::JSON_ARRAY when runing symfony console make:entity

**Symfony version(s) **: 5.3

**I just create new Symfony 5.3 blank project, I have an error when I want to create an entity with the symfony console make:entity command. I'm using php-8.0.2, Please I need help

Reproduceable with

symfony new application --full
cd application
symfony console make:entity Test
New property name (press <return> to stop adding fields):
> test

Error
In MakeEntity.php line 379:
Undefined constant Doctrine\DBAL\Types\Type::JSON_ARRAY

Workaround
sed -i 's/Type::JSON_ARRAY/"json_array"/' vendor/symfony/maker-bundle/src/Maker/MakeEntity.php

So the doctrine/dbal is on the version > 3.0

Solution

Downgrade doctrine dbal package : composer require doctrine/dbal ^2.0

For me helps on Symfony 5.2 downgrade package dbal

composer require doctrine/dbal ^2.0
