Not sure the cause of this.
I believe you are saying about sttings button in smalls package in settings-view(cmd-.) not appear?
You still can access by clicking package itself to show package's readme and setting will appear.

Really, that issue is not the same I observed in my Atom 1.4.0 on MacOSX.
I can see settings in your view.
That's bad will investigate. thanks

fwiw, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the package and restarted atom. Still no settings

Oh, I have same issue. Please ignore above comment.
Removing activationCommands in package.json solve this problem but what change have made on this feature.

I confirmed this issue is common for all package with activationCommand setting in package.json.
I checked with symbols-view bundled package, I believe this should be upstream bug(setting-view package or Atom core).
