• Saved posts are now stored one by one, each in its own storage entry. Until now, every time you saved or changed one post, PostShelf rewrote all your posts at once. Now it writes only the posts that changed
• The first time PostShelf starts after the update, it automatically moves your saved data to the new format. This happens only once, and PostShelf checks the moved data before deleting the data in the old format. If the check does not match, the old data is kept. Saving, exporting and deleting in the manager, the side panel and on x.com wait until the move is finished
• If you go back to 1.1.8 or earlier, save posts, and then update to 1.1.9 again, the posts you saved in the meantime are added. Posts that already exist are not overwritten
• Removed the note "The side panel requires Chrome 114 or later." from "When clicking the toolbar icon" in Settings. PostShelf now runs only on Chrome 130 or later, where the side panel is always available

No required permissions or outside communication were added. The format of saved data has changed (the first item above). The format of exported JSON is unchanged (version: 2). The required Chrome version is now 130 or later (previously 114 or later).

Install / update

Chrome 130 or later is required. PostShelf cannot be loaded in Chrome 129 or earlier. Even then, do not remove the extension: update Chrome and then load it again. Removing the extension deletes your saved data.

For the steps, see docs/INSTALL.en.md. Before updating, always export your data from "Data" in Settings. This update changes the format of saved data, so please do not skip this step.

If you go back to 1.1.8 or earlier after updating to 1.1.9, your saved posts are not shown. The data is not deleted, and the posts appear again when you return to 1.1.9.

• 保存したポストを、1 件ずつ別の保存場所に分けた。これまでは 1 件を保存・変更するたびに、すべてのポストをまとめて書き直していた。今は、変わったポストだけを書き込む
• 更新したあとに初めて起動したとき、保存データを新しい形に自動で移す。移すのは 1 回だけで、移した内容を確かめてから古い形のデータを消す。確かめた内容が合わなければ、古い形のデータを残す。管理画面・サイドパネル・x.com での保存・書き出し・削除は、移し終わるまで待つ
• 1.1.8 以前に戻して保存したあと、もう一度 1.1.9 に更新すると、戻している間に保存したポストを足す。すでにあるポストは上書きしない
• 設定の「ツールバーアイコンのクリック時の動作」から、「サイドパネルは Chrome 114 以降で使えます。」の説明を消した。PostShelf が動くのは Chrome 130 以降だけで、そこではサイドパネルを必ず使える

必須の権限と外部への通信は増やしていません。保存データの形は変えました (上の 1 つ目)。書き出す JSON の形は変えていません (version: 2)。必要な Chrome のバージョンを、114 以降から 130 以降に上げました。

インストール・更新

Chrome 130 以降が必要です。 Chrome 129 以前では読み込めません。そのときも拡張機能を削除せず、Chrome を更新してから読み込み直してください。削除すると、保存したデータが消えます。

手順は docs/INSTALL.md を参照してください。更新の前に、設定の「データ」から必ずエクスポートしてください。今回は保存データの形を変えるので、特に忘れないでください。

1.1.9 に更新したあとで 1.1.8 以前に戻すと、保存したポストが表示されません。データは消えておらず、1.1.9 に戻すと表示されます。
