v0.2.0
v0.2.0
New features (since v0.1.0):
- Backup browsing and restore, project/environment variable management (#20)
- GitHub Pages documentation site (#7, #11)
- Local Android/iOS build docs; EAS removed; tier-1 unsigned iOS simulator CI build (#12, #15, #16, #21)
Security hardening:
- Warns when a Lagoon instance's GraphQL or Keycloak URL uses http:// instead of https://
- Masks the pasted API token on the static-token login screen (was previously shown in plaintext)
Other:
- Native Android build now runs only on merge/release, not on every PR push
- Various dependency/action version bumps (Renovate)
v0.1.0
Initial release: a mobile client for the Lagoon application delivery platform. Browse projects and environments, watch deployments and tasks with live-updating build logs, and trigger deploys/tasks — across multiple Lagoon instances via a context switcher, mirroring lagoon-cli's context model.
Tested on Android only. This release has been built and confirmed working end-to-end on a real Android device against a live Lagoon instance (SBS). iOS is a TODO — the codebase is cross-platform (Expo/React Native) and CI builds an Android APK on every PR, but no iOS build has been produced or tested yet.
What's in v0.1.0
- Contexts: add, edit, and switch between multiple Lagoon instances, each with its own auth session and GraphQL cache
- Auth: Keycloak OIDC Authorization Code + PKCE through the system browser, with a pasted-API-token fallback for instances that pin OAuth redirect URIs; automatically tries the
lagoon-mobileclient convention before falling back to manual guidance - Browse: projects, environments, and environment info (routes, services, key facts)
- Deployments & tasks: history, live status via GraphQL subscriptions (polling fallback when WebSockets are blocked), and a chat-style ANSI-aware build log viewer with autoscroll and jump-to-latest
- Operate: deploy latest, cancel a running deployment, run registered/advanced tasks, and raw command execution — all gated behind a confirmation sheet
- Compatibility: the app targets Lagoon 2.8+ as a floor, with newer API fields (build step, service type, task argument metadata, etc.) automatically enabled when talking to a newer instance
- Branding: uses the official Lagoon hexagon mark as the app icon and in-app branding
Known limitations
- iOS: not yet built or tested (TODO)
- No automated Play Store / App Store distribution yet — see the README for sideloading a release APK from CI
