ReportScout 0.3.2
This Mac update gives ReportScout an icon, fixes typing in the search box and adds an Archive for reports you no longer need in your lists.
- An icon. ReportScout now has an icon of report sheets under a magnifying glass, in the Dock, in Finder and on the website.
- Typing stays typing. On a Mac, letters typed into the search box no longer star, categorise or open reports. Single-key shortcuts still work when no text field has focus; shortcuts with ⌘, ⌃ or ⌥ still work from the search box.
- Archive. Move a report to the Archive from its actions (⌘K), the Report menu, the command palette or the button beside Star. Archived reports leave ordinary lists, searches and counts. Open the Archive at the foot of the browse panel to search it or restore a report. Files are never moved or deleted, and stars, categories, topics and links are kept.
- Command line.
report-scout mark <path> --archiveor--restore;report-scout searchleaves archived reports out unless you add--archivedor--include-archived.
Before you share an inbox
ReportScout 0.3.0 does not know the Archive mark and drops it whenever it saves a mark change. If several Macs share one inbox, update all of them to 0.3.2 before archiving reports.
