New: Backup & Restore
Find it in Settings → Backup & Restore.
- Create backup saves your projects, files, chats and settings into one
.mhbackupfile. You choose where it goes, like Downloads or Google Drive. - Protect with password (on by default) also saves your API keys and logins: GitHub CLI, git, SSH, Claude Code and Antigravity. The whole file is then encrypted (AES-256). There's no way to recover a forgotten password.
- Restore backup adds the backup's projects next to the ones already on your phone, so nothing is deleted. A project that's already there comes back as a copy named "… (restored)". Turn on "Also restore settings, API keys and logins" to bring those back too.
- After a reinstall, tap Restore from a backup on the first setup screen to get everything back. Logins are copied in once setup finishes.
- Backup and restore keep running with the screen off or the app in the background, with a live percentage in the app and the notification. You can cancel at any time.
- Folders that builds recreate (
node_modules,.gradle, build output, Python virtualenvs) are skipped to keep backups small..gitis kept.
Also new
- A What's New screen shows once after each update.
