Releases
v1.0.0-rc1
Pre-release. Bundles for four platforms, and nothing else.
Assets
xqs-vnc-<os>-<arch>.xqsp for windows/amd64, linux/amd64, darwin/amd64 and
darwin/arm64, plus a release-level SHA256SUMS covering them. Each bundle carries
plugin.json, the platform binary, the whole ui/ tree (the vendored noVNC viewer)
and its own SHA256SUMS. The bundles are unsigned; integrity rests on those two
checksum files.
No bare binaries. This plugin's interface is the plugin — the manifest declares
embedEntry: ui/vnc.html — and a bare binary carries no ui/, so installing one
produces a session that connects and then 404s on its own page.
Requires a host that installs bundles from GitHub
Add GitHub repository downloads and installs the .xqsp on a host that supports
it. An older host does not recognise .xqsp as a platform asset and reports the
platform as unsupported — install from a file instead:
Settings → Plugins → Install bundle…
Install
Either route arrives at the same tree. The install asks for consent to reach arbitrary
hosts on your network, which is what a VNC client does.
