• Masked log: share a terminal without its secrets. Masked log above the terminal opens a second window that shows the terminal's output with passwords, keys, tokens, Cisco/pfSense secrets, IP and MAC addresses, serial numbers, user and host names masked: secrets become ••••••, the rest get stable names (IP-1, SN-2, HOST-1) so the log still reads. Share that window while Cmdex's own window stays protected from capture. Select text there and choose Mask this too to add a rule.
• Your own masking rules: a piece of text, the word after a keyword, or an RE2 pattern; each kind of value can be turned on or off. Rules only describe text, never run anything; they are stored encrypted and travel with JSON backups. The real values behind IP-1… are listed only in the main window, when you ask.
• The output is kept in memory only and erased when you close the tab; nothing is written to disk. Full-screen programs (vim, top, less) are not logged.
• Notes in a window of their own. The chat bubble (Ctrl+Shift+N) now opens the notes in a separate window you can place beside Cmdex or on another screen; clicking it again brings that window to the front. It is part of the same Cmdex: no separate icon, it closes with Cmdex, and notes stay in the same library and backups. It follows the screen-capture protection setting.

Note: masking by patterns is never complete — check the shared window before you share it.

• Ghi chú có cửa sổ riêng. Bong bóng chat (Ctrl+Shift+N) giờ mở ghi chú trong một cửa sổ riêng, đặt cạnh Cmdex hay sang màn hình khác tuỳ ý; bấm lần nữa sẽ đưa cửa sổ đó lên trước. Nó vẫn thuộc cùng một Cmdex: không có icon riêng, đóng Cmdex là đóng theo, ghi chú vẫn nằm trong cùng thư viện và bản sao lưu. Chống chụp màn hình theo cài đặt của cửa sổ chính.

Lưu ý: che theo mẫu không bao giờ đủ 100% — hãy xem lại cửa sổ chia sẻ trước khi chia sẻ.
