Changes since v10.19.1.

Features

Add host context and harden Git and checkpoints (#1307)

Hosting applications can supply fresh, nonsecret execution context to
every agent through AgentContextProvider. Codex, Claude, Copilot and
Pi use the shared prompt path; reused sessions, resumed attempts and
auxiliary agents receive a fresh sample. Authored graphs and durable
invocations stay unchanged, and local/direct targets retain their
default prompts.

Trusted Git command capture now shares native transport's
credential-selection policy and redacts token/password/API-key values
while preserving private protocol stdout. Delivery pins author and
committer after native configuration, and automatic GC stays foreground

on both older and current Git.

Restic drains complete stdout/stderr streams with bounded memory and
retains only the latest backup summary. Multi-MiB progress before or
after the summary no longer aborts a backup. Failures report
operation/stage/exit details without private child output, and a failed
backup preserves the previously published recovery point.

Fixes

Skip the Greptile wait on draft pull requests (#1306)

The required job waits for a Greptile Review check run on the head
commit. Greptile does not review draft pull requests, so on a draft the
check run never appears. The wait loop has no exit for that case and
polls until GitHub's six-hour job limit, then fails. PR #1296 hit this.

Documentation

Update the starred-by companies in the README (#1308)

The README's "Starred by engineers at" strip now reads Google ·
Microsoft · Amazon · NVIDIA · Meta · GitHub · Cloudflare
, the same
list as zeroshot.sh (the-open-engine/zeroshot-landing-page#32). It
replaces the Oct 4 list of nine.

  • Every name has at least one current stargazer who names the company in
their GitHub company field: Microsoft 3, Amazon/AWS 6 or more, NVIDIA 1,
    Google 2, Meta 1, GitHub 1, Cloudflare 1.
  • Microsoft and Amazon marks come from Simple Icons v11. Simple Icons
later removed them over those companies' trademark terms.
docs/brand/README.md used to say such brands stay off; it now records
that the strip keeps them on purpose.
  • The strip wraps 4 + 3 and is 424px wide (it was 504), so the README
width changed to match. Both PNGs were re-rendered with the
    documented Playwright steps.

Say the README starred-by strip samples 300+ companies (#1309)

The README starred-by strip label now reads "Starred by engineers at
300+ companies, including"
above the seven logos, matching zeroshot.sh
(the-open-engine/zeroshot-landing-page#33).

  • 300+ is a floor. On 2026-10-28, 538 of 2,051 stargazers listed a
company, naming about 420 distinct companies after removing students,
schools, placeholders and us, and merging aliases. It stays true as
    stars grow.
  • The longer label widens the strip to 435px, so the README
width and alt text changed. Both PNGs were re-rendered with the
    documented Playwright steps.
