To help the maintainers better understand the proposal, could you suggest some specific examples of the programs you have in mind? For instance, which OOP concepts would you focus on? (e.g., Inheritance, Polymorphism, Encapsulation, Abstraction)

Perhaps instead of a general folder, we could demonstrate these concepts through a small, self-contained example that fits the repository's structure. For example, a classic demonstration of Polymorphism could be a Shape interface with Circle, Rectangle, and Triangle classes, each with its own calculateArea() method.

This would provide a very clear and focused example for the repository. What are your thoughts on starting with a specific, concrete example like that?

hey @avadhutmali . you are right that here is what i thought oops is a main concept of java.
so with dsa let us include a folder with oops more specifically from basic to advance like i have few programs that implement concepts like inheritance, method over loading, constructors and some other programs work with run time arguments and method over loading etc..
the solution should be in way like scenario based or some classic demonstration as you said.

That's a great plan, @PavanKuppili! I'm glad we're on the same page. A dedicated folder with clear, classic demonstrations of OOP concepts will be a fantastic addition to the repository.

To get us started, how about this for a plan:

I will create the first Pull Request. It will establish the new folder structure (e.g., oops/) and add the classic Shape example we discussed. This will be a great demonstration of Abstraction (with a Shape interface/abstract class) and Polymorphism (with Circle and Rectangle classes).

You can create the next Pull Request. Once the first one is merged, you can add your excellent examples for Inheritance, Constructors, and Method Overloading.

This way, we can build the section step-by-step with clean, focused contributions.

If this sounds good to you, we can ask the maintainers to assign the issue to both of us. What do you think?

Yes @avadhutmali . That sound great lets work to gather i raised this issue only because I'm not sure that OOp's is allowed or not because most of the problems are on DSA i guess.
Anyway lets work together as you said.

Hi, I would like to work on this enhancement.

I can implement the "Rat in a Maze" algorithm using a backtracking approach. I will also be sure to include comprehensive unit tests that cover various scenarios, including mazes with no solution.
