Level 42 – Messages: webtrees' own messaging as JSON, so an app has an inbox and can share a record with a fellow
researcher as a message with the link. GET Messages lists the signed-in user's inbox (50 per page): text is the
message alone (webtrees stores the mail wording around it), url the page it was sent from, links every record of
this server mentioned in text or URL, resolved to type and xref (null when the reader may not see it), and
recipients the users one can write to – the list of the “Messages” block, without accounts that have no contact
method (webtrees would deliver nothing to them). POST Messages {to, subject?, body, url?} sends through webtrees'
MessageService as the signed-in user (internal, e-mail or both, as the recipient chose; no broadcast). POST MessageDelete {ids} deletes own messages. Info.user.messages counts the inbox. Errors missing-to, unknown-user,
contact-none, missing-body, send-failed, missing-ids.
