- Mailpit (mail catcher) as a fourth service. PHP's
mail()delivers to it instead of sending anything, and Open inbox shows the messages. For Laravel and other apps with their own SMTP settings: host127.0.0.1, port1025, no user, no encryption. Ports are in Settings > Ports; new versions come through Check for updates. - PHP configuration: the Configure button next to PHP in Tools & PATH.
- Xdebug: downloaded from xdebug.org for your PHP version (checked against its SHA-256) and switched on with one click. Step debugging on port 9003, only when a request asks for it (
XDEBUG_SESSIONcookie or?XDEBUG_SESSION=1), so normal pages stay fast. - Extensions: turn them on or off with checkboxes; the choice applies to every PHP version. A change PHP cannot load (e.g. a DLL it needs is missing) is undone, with PHP's message.
- Xdebug: downloaded from xdebug.org for your PHP version (checked against its SHA-256) and switched on with one click. Step debugging on port 9003, only when a request asks for it (
- Database backups: Back up next to a running MySQL or PostgreSQL writes a
.sqlfile tobackup\databases\(MySQL: every database except the system ones; PostgreSQL: everything, with roles). Load it with Adminer's Import, or mysql / psql. - Data folder warning: different MySQL and PostgreSQL series keep their databases in different folders (
data\mysql-8.4,data\postgresql-18...). Switching to a version whose folder is still empty now tells you where your databases are.
