The Windows app: the timer in the tray, global shortcuts, quick entry, and split suggestions from Claude Code, Codex and Copilot.
- Installer for x64 (
Spindle-Setup.exe), which Windows on Arm runs too - Native Arm64 installer (
Spindle-Setup-arm64.exe)
Needs Windows 10 or later. It installs for your user without administrator rights and updates itself. The installer isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may warn before it runs (#7).
What's new
- Continue with Google or Apple: sign in or create an account without a password, on servers that offer it.
- While you type a description in the entry editor, Spindle offers ones you wrote before, also for each project's own description in a split. ↑ and ↓ pick one and Enter takes it; the project and the split stay as they are.
- The timer's suggestions show first what starts with what you typed, then what you wrote on the same project and what you use most.
- Spindle reads GitHub Copilot CLI logs too, beside Claude Code and Codex. Choose which agents it reads in Settings → General → Parallel work. If you already had agent logs on, Copilot starts off there.
- Continue, Duplicate and the timer's earlier entries keep each project's own description in a split, so one project's report no longer shows what was done on another.
