What's new

• Windows setup now downloads missing build tools automatically. Run Install.cmd, select your XISO, then click Launch game when setup finishes. Build.cmd still works.
• Added replacement-file mods with enable/disable controls, load order and conflict checks. The optional Test Mod is disabled by default. Scripts and executable patches are not yet supported.
• Added experimental Steam Deck / SteamOS setup through Flatpak, without changing SteamOS system files.
• Added Mute on focus loss to Audio settings.
• Finished redrawing the remaining Clean HUD font symbols.
• Fixed distant traffic appearing as floating tires with increased draw distance.
• Fixed the flashing END box when scrolling through profile-name characters.
• Improved the Game Files icon, italicized the mod disclaimer and fixed the unwanted orange panel outline when reopening settings. The setup window's Close button now comes first.
• Updated Linux and macOS graphics dependencies, fixed Linux resizing and improved diagnostic captures.

Installation and updates

Download Installation.zip and extract it into a permanent folder. Run Install.cmd on Windows, Install.desktop on Linux / Steam Deck, or Install.command on macOS. Your own supported US Xbox XISO is required; game files are not included.

For an existing installation, close the game, back up your saves, settings, music and mods, then extract over the existing source folder and rerun setup. See README.md for details.

Linux, macOS and Steam Deck support remains experimental. Physical Steam Deck gameplay and performance have not yet been verified.
