Performance improvements, optional Discord Rich Presence, and fixes for car parts and their ground shadows at increased draw distances.

  • Reduced CPU and graphics overhead, including memory copies, draw submission and shader constant updates.
  • Added Discord Rich Presence under Settings > General. It is off by default and uses the project's icon, activity and elapsed time. Discord desktop must be running.
  • Increased draw distance now keeps traffic bodies and loose wheels, bumpers and other parts at full mesh detail. Loose-part ground shadows extend to twice or four times their original range with the matching setting.
  • Fixed virtual-memory address handling, bounds checks and memory queries; portable CPU instruction behavior; audio error handling; and compiled sound-effect compatibility checks.
  • Settings now save through a completed temporary file and accept Windows line endings on other platforms. Settings helper text was also cleaned up.
  • Updated the README and shortened its Game settings section.

The Windows Release build and offline diagnostics passed, including 52 CPU groups, 4,433 storage checks, 468 vehicle-detail cases, 72 shadow-range cases, 273 rendering cases and 13,116 visibility checks. Linux source analysis and portable CPU helper probes also passed. These checks do not establish complete gameplay parity or sustained 360 FPS; Linux and macOS gameplay still need hardware validation.

Download Installation.zip and extract it over your existing source folder, keeping build and data. Rerun Install.cmd on Windows, Install.desktop on Linux, or Install.command on macOS. Back up saves, settings, achievement progress, imported music and mods first; the README lists the locations. Your own US Xbox XISO is required. Game files are not included.

macOS build fix (November 2): Installation.zip now includes the missing compiler header. Intel and Apple Silicon builds and offline diagnostics passed. If you downloaded 1.13 before this update, download Installation.zip again and rerun setup.

Linux and Steam Deck validation (November 2): Installation.zip now includes a visibility diagnostic fix for graphics devices without 8x MSAA. Native Linux and Steam Deck Flatpak builds passed the offline CPU, input, audio, storage, settings, visibility and rendering checks. Software Vulkan rendering was validated with Mesa 26.2.5; older llvmpipe versions have incorrect MSAA scissor boundaries.
