v0.2.0
This release pairs the phone with your PC by a QR code, shows your PC's albums, and sends photos from the phone to your home PC. It needs LightCraft Cloud 0.3.0 or newer on the home PC. Setup is in the cloud library guide.
What's Changed
- Pair with your PC: Cloud library ▸ Pair with your PC shows a code. Type it into the home PC (Status ▸ Add a device), then scan the QR code it shows. Nothing to type on the phone and no config file to copy. The old way, with an rclone config file, is still there.
- Albums from the PC: your LightCraft albums appear in a "From PC" album folder. They are view-only for now: changes made to them on the phone are put back at the next refresh. Albums you make yourself are never touched.
- Send photos to PC: pick photos in the Cloud library page and they're added to your home PC's library, in
Phone/<date taken>. Nothing is deleted from the phone. - Send new camera photos automatically: off by default. When on, photos you take from then on are sent soon after, in the background. By default this happens only on Wi-Fi.
- Refresh now is at the top of the Cloud library page.
- LightCraft for Android 0.0.6-beta: based on the latest upstream release, with the LightCraft 0.18 engine, closer-to-Lightroom edits on JPEGs, raws in the gallery's Browse, and fixed Original exports.
Which file do I need?
lightcraft-cloud-0.2.0.apk: 64-bit ARM, for most phones.lightcraft-cloud-0.2.0-armeabi-v7a.apk: 32-bit ARM, for older and low-end phones.
It installs over 0.1.1 and keeps your library.
Before you start
- HEIC and WebP photos aren't sent yet: LightCraft can't read HEIC, and the home PC doesn't take WebP files. The app says how many it skipped.
- The app now asks for camera access: the QR scanner needs it, and Android then asks for it for the camera button too.
- Edits on JPEGs can look a little different on the phone than in LightCraft on the PC, because the phone has Lightroom-matching fixes that desktop LightCraft doesn't have yet. The edit values are the same.

LightCraft Cloud 0.1.1
First release of LightCraft Cloud for Android, a phone app for editing your LightCraft photos from your own cloud storage. It's an independent project based on LightCraft. Setup and requirements are in the README.
What's Changed
- Connects to a LightCraft Cloud library and sends your phone edits back to the PC as XMP sidecars.
- Installs alongside LightCraft, with its own app ID and a cloud badge on the icon.
