First published AWTRIX CLI release, with native standalone binaries and an Agent Skills-compatible skill.

Agent Skill

Install for OpenCode, Claude Code, Codex, or another compatible agent:

npx skills add toinux/awtrix-cli --skill awtrix-cli

The skill reuses an existing CLI or guides installation of the matching GitHub release binary. Bundled shell and PowerShell installers resolve the latest stable release, verify SHA-256, and check version/help before installing. No Rust toolchain is needed for supported binary hosts.

Validation

Native CLI/HTTP contract checks and installer tests passed on Linux, macOS, and Windows. The CI also downloaded and installed the published assets on all three platforms and checked --version and --help. Physical AWTRIX hardware behavior is not established by these distribution checks.

The CLI supports device diagnostics, temporary apps, notifications, settings, persistent Berry scripts, modules/resources, PNG screen capture, TOML projects, bounded runtime logs/verification, and Linux headless testing. See README.md for workflows.

The earlier v0.1.0 tag was blocked by CI and has no published release.
