Screen Tools is a free Chrome and Firefox extension that records your screen, a window, a tab or your camera, with microphone and system audio, and takes annotated screenshots. There's no account and no watermark. Nothing leaves your computer unless you connect Google Drive, Dropbox or your own upload server and upload a file.
This wiki covers how to use the extension and how it's built. The README has the short version, and the changelog lists what changed in each release.
