This is a tool to help users download large quantities of US drought monitor shapefiles from the GIS database. Contains an example to get point descriptions from 18 sites for 20 years.
The "Drought Early Warning System's DataHub" (DEWS-DH) is a satellite datahub which is used to show and store satellite image data. Metrics like the NDVI or SMI are calculated on demand. The images are imported into a PostGIS database were they can be requested by third-party software for further processing.
A simple Python package to calculate and visualize some popular drought indices such as the SPI, SPEI and SGI.
