ADB Dock 1.0 — Apple Silicon (unsigned)
ADB Dock puts Android wireless-debugging status, pairing-code dialogs, reconnect attempts, and per-device pause controls in your Mac's menu bar.
This download is for Apple silicon (arm64) only. The DMG is unsigned and not notarized; the app inside is ad-hoc signed, without a verified Developer ID.
Requirements and installation
- macOS 13 or later on an Apple silicon Mac.
- Android 11 or later with Developer options → Wireless debugging enabled.
- Android SDK Platform-Tools (
adb) installed separately; it is not bundled. No Android Studio or Xcode is required to run the prebuilt app. - Mac and phone on the same local network, allowing discovery and connections.
Download the DMG and matching .dmg.sha256 file. Verify them in the download directory:
shasum -a 256 -c AdbDock-1.0-arm64-unsigned.dmg.sha256Open the image, copy the app to Applications, eject the image, then launch the installed copy. Gatekeeper may block a downloaded app. If you trust its source, use the app-specific System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway option when offered. Do not disable system protections globally. Managed Macs may prevent this override. See installation notes.
Look for the antenna icon in the menu bar. If the bar is crowded, free some space; Control–Option–Command–A can open the menu when the shortcut registers. Pair using the phone's current six-digit code and compare the dialog address with the phone before confirming.
Verification and limitations
Built on macOS 15.6.1 (24G90), arm64, using Apple Swift 6.1 in Swift 5 language mode. Local adb was Platform-Tools 35.0.2 (protocol 1.0.41).
Passed: native build, image integrity/read-only mount, packaged file comparison, strict ad-hoc signature verification, isolated installation from the DMG, ejection, installed launch, and --dump/--menu smoke checks with zero devices. Menu/antenna visibility was confirmed from user-supplied screenshots; the user resolved the crowded menu bar without an app-code change.
Earlier real-device pairing/reconnection and login verification was reported by the maintainer, not independently repeated during this packaging run. Downloaded/quarantined Gatekeeper behavior and Intel builds have not been tested. Edited/upscaled README screenshots remove other icons and replace connected-device details with fictional examples; they are not additional end-to-end tests.
Artifact and source

The tag points to commit 06bce42c605b72421da7e1b14dd77e47970b8d55. App sources, build.sh, and license are unchanged from tested base bd30de7cb2393322b9e94502ba726ad560c2d9af; the packaging script and bundled installation notes match the tested inputs exactly. Documentation and image changes did not rebuild the DMG.
The attached original build-info file retains the base commit, dirty checkout, and skip-build=true record: a freshly built app was packaged with host access after a sandbox tool limitation. See the packaging and validation record for details. Checksums detect changes; they do not authenticate the developer or replace notarization.
