Minor Changes
d930b2f Thanks @tufantunc! - fix(policy): the command classifier reads option values and environment assignments that carry a command — git -c, apt -o, scp -o, rsync --rsync-path=, tar --use-compress-program= and GIT_SSH_COMMAND-style prefixes — whether the value is attached with =, quoted, or glued to its key. A command that relied on the previous default may now prompt for approval, or be refused outright under a profile that does not grant the class it earns.
Security
Fixed GHSA-5m7x-xwpc-pp79: twenty spellings reached class safe — the one class the default ask-destructive policy never prompts on, and the one an operator holds on prod — through an option value: git -c core.pager="sudo id", apt -o Dpkg::Pre-Invoke::=, scp -o ProxyCommand=, less +"!…", cpan -e, the attached --flag=value spellings of rsync --rsync-path/--rsh and tar --use-compress-program/--to-command, and command-bearing environment prefixes (GIT_SSH_COMMAND="sudo id" git fetch, EDITOR=… crontab -e). Each hands sudo … to something that runs it, while the separated spellings of the same options already classified privileged. The operand scan now strips a key glued to its payload, reads a value attached with = under the same rule as the separated one, and — for the variable names a documented consumer execs — reads the value as the command it names; an assignment under any other name stays data. Reported by @eliteaja11-dev. Affected: <= 2.22.2.
