@tumsen tumsen released this 01 Nov 07:09

Version 1.01 (build v2026.11.01-0807)

Same as 1.00, without developer debug output in the Serial Terminal (no HTTP request lines, heap figures or HEALTH lines). Recommended over 1.00.

Everything in 1.00:

  • Online updates: Settings > Firmware Update > Check for updates (installs only when you press Install; a new version runs on trial for 30 s and falls back to the previous one if it fails)
  • Welcome page on a new unit: set the password and your Wi-Fi in one step; Wi-Fi dropdown; shows the Wi-Fi settings again if it cannot join
  • Remote pairings can no longer be lost after a restart; detected remote buttons are shown on the pairing cards and kept
  • The device can no longer be restarted by bad or slow network requests
  • MIDI keeps running even if a computer holds the USB serial port open without reading it
  • Safer passwords (always one shared password, can be changed but not removed; over 63 characters refused)
  • Password recovery keeps the device name (the USB-MIDI name stays the same)
  • OSC: a second message to the same address on one button is no longer dropped
  • Preset CSV Import: choose the endpoint for messages from the webshop generators
  • New themes: Studio Mono and Soft Daylight; more compact layout; links to other sites open in a new window
  • Device names with spaces get a valid address (e.g. schwifty-ex.local)
